Chester Green Festival 2026

Join us in the heart of Chester for a vibrant, two-weekend celebration of all things eco-friendly, sustainable and local! Whether you’re looking to shop green, learn about climate solutions, or just enjoy a fantastic free day out with the family, we’ve got something for everyone across two action-packed Sundays.

Why should should you attend

Chester Green Festival creates a space where people can discover what is already happening across our region and how they can get involved. It brings together community organisations, campaign groups and sustainable businesses to share ideas, inspire action and build stronger connections.

A celebration of the people and organisations working for climate action and nature recovery across the Chester/ Cheshire region.

It highlights practical solutions, inspiring projects and simple actions that help create a greener future for our city.

Chester Green Festival is part of Great Big Green Week, the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature, coordinated by The Climate Coalition.

With stalls, talks, workshops and activities, it’s an opportunity to connect, learn and take part in building a more sustainable community.

“Real change begins close to home — in our streets, our communities and our shared spaces.”
