It’s now less than a month to go until the Great Big Green Week. It will be an exciting convergence of climate action all across the United Kingdom to show politicians that the public wants to see urgent and ambitious action taken to tackle climate change.
Eco Communities are co-ordinating activities within Cheshire West and speaking to lots of groups to pull together what everyone is doing and represent a unified front. If you want to put on your own activity feel free to email helenchesterfoe@hotmail.com so we can add you into the programme, or alternatively join us at our event on the 25th September.

The Great Big Green Week Festival at Grosvenor Park in Chester takes place on Saturday 25 September – 11am until 4pm. We will have a range of stalls selling goods, refreshments, community organisation stalls, talks. and entertainment. All to raise awareness for Climate Change, Sustainability, and reducing our Carbon Footprint and effect on the planet.
The Festival is being supported financially by The Climate Coalition, Cheshire West Voluntary Action, Vivocare and Chester West and Chester Council.
We are not charging attendees or for stalls. We will provide businesses with details and they may wish to make a donation after the event we can use to support future years activities.
