What a great day last Saturday at Taste Cheshire, Chester Farmers Market. Two of our Chester Green Weekend prize winners collected their prizes – Chester Zoo tickets and a stay at The Town House Chester. Thanks to our sponsors.

Our Kids’ Party Kit is perfect for house parties, school
events, and celebrations – with enough kit for up to 40 children.
The children loved our game of Hook a Duck – helping to “save the Chester Dee Ducks” from single-use plastics in the river (which could end up in the ocean!) and protecting our Eco Communities Turtles.
In the background, Chester Pride brought even more colour and joy to the day. We missed being in the parade, but what a fantastic atmosphere to be part of!
It was also brilliant to chat properly with fellow stallholders this time. Many had been at Chester Green Weekend, but I was too busy to connect then. If you’re an independent business, don’t forget you can gain Plastic Free Business accreditation with our support, via Surfers Against Sewage. By switching – or never using – just three single-use plastic items, you can qualify. It was inspiring to hear how many stalls are already cutting plastic, and we’re excited to help more of them complete the simple accreditation process.
