How We Can Help

Becoming a plastic free champion is a straightforward yet impactful process for all types of businesses — one that allows you to contribute to environmental sustainability in your area. In order to qualify for the program, you’ll need to choose at least three items of single-use plastic you use on a daily basis within your company and swap them out for a more environmentally friendly alternative. To get started, follow the steps:

Step One: Perform an Audit

  • Conduct a thorough review to identify any and all single-use plastic items you currently use. This will help to pinpoint items to reduce or even eliminate.

Step Two: Select Your Items

  • Select at least three single-use plastic items to banish from your day-to-day operation. Some common items to consider include:
    • Plastic bottled drinks
    • Single-use ink cartridges
    • Sauce sachets
    • Milk in plastic bottles
    • Bubble wrap
    • Plastic food bags

Step Three: Implement Changes

  • When identified, replace or eliminate these items from your routine. Instead opt for sustainable alternatives (e.g. paper, glass and metal) and adjust your practices, where possible, to reduce unnecessary waste.
